Vogue Knitting Magazine -  Spring 1952
This suit is knitted in Sirdar boucle wool on 'old' size 11 needles at a an approximate tension of 32 stitches and 40 rows to 4 inches.  Not a light undertaking.  Boucle was definitely the trend that year.
